What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? I was so wonder about the work of jesus christ, for all the miracle He made, he used only three years to form his disciple to sent the good news throughout the world. that make me also received that goodnews in cote d'ivoire through his disciples. IMMANUEL God with us.....the purpose of Jesus's birth, ministry, death and ressurection is to restore what Adam lost in the garden and that is the Kingdom of God. Man was created for the sole purpose of manifesting the Kingdom of God on earth. Man was created in the image and likeness of God (God was in Man) to fulfil Gods' purpose on earth. Man lost it, thus the need to have Jesus as Man on earth to restore that. Also he proved that he can defeat the devil, bored our sin as a sinner and defeated death and the grave. So we have a living hope and that is our Lord Jesus Christ...a man in heaven who is God became man....God with us.....and promised us a Comforter...to the ends of the earth when he ascended to heaven. God is still with us....
